Pessighette County Retreat b&b Bosa
The Pessighette B&B was born from the renovation, completed in 2010, of a country house, purchased by the family in the 1930s, together with the 4 hectares of adjacent land cultivated with vineyards and olive groves.
The renovation
Given its “old age” and characteristic shape, typical of country houses in the area, the house is considered a “historic building”. The renovation project therefore had to take into account the need to preserve the original external shape, without being able to vary, for example, the heights.
The name is that of the land, and probably derives from the fact that in the vineyard, once cultivated with Malvasia di Bosa, there were small peach trees (“pessighe” means “peach” in the local Sardinian dialect and “pessighette” is the diminutive).
